Luxury Hotel When You Visit London

Plans have been announced to transform the former home of the Port of London Authority into a luxury hotel with 120 bedrooms, spa, restaurant, fitness club and swimming pool. In addition, 37 private residences and a private members club would be part of the development by Woods Bagot, featuring interior design by David Collins.
The target opening date for the hotel is in 2014. The property at 10 Trinity Square has a prime City location overlooking the Thames, adjacent to the Tower of London. The Port Authority building was originally designed in the Beaux Arts style by Sir Edwin Cooper in 1922, and it most recently housed the UK offices of Willis Insurance. Bullet Investments, a joint venture of KOP Properties and the Reignwood Group, bought the property last year with the goal of upgrading the historical monument into one of London's most impressive hotels to visit.
